Sideshow Collectibles has begun distributing the "Fetts"

Recently Sideshow Collectibles has begun distributing 2 new additions from Medicom Toys' Star Wars line, Boba & Jango Fett. Sideshow has had a lot of trouble recently with stock issues as they have not had most of their Star Wars 12" line in stock for quite some time now. So it would seem that Medicom will be the only company producing figures of both Fetts for awhile. These figures do look pretty impressive, but if history with this company can tell us anything, it's that the scale is not true to 1/6th at all. Compared to Sideshow's 12" Star Wars figures, Medicom figures just do not measure up. Most look stubby and disproportional. Another negative would be the price. Because of the scale issues and most figures detail is not quite up to par, the hefty price tag doesnt seem very fair. If you remember, towards the beginning of this year Sideshow announced that it was distributing Medicom's 1:6th scale C-3PO & R2-D2. The collecting world was ecstatic because it was the first produced in 1:6th scale. Unfortunately they carry a nearly $200 price tag, so for that the figures will have a very hard time selling. It makes one ask, are the Fetts really worth the $150 price tag?
